Lead by Actor/Writer/Director – Gregory A. Holtz, Sr.

Mr. Holtz is a writer, actor, director and teacher with an extensive background in theater, film/video and stand-up comedy. In 2008 he served as a Cultural Envoy to South Africa through U.S. Department of State.


When:
Saturday August 20th and Saturday August 27th

Bethel Gospel Assembly
2-26 E. 120th St.
Between 5th and Madison Aves.

I.) These workshops will allow for the actor to discover the truth behind the words and bring a believable presentation of the character within the allotted time of the audition.

II.) The ultimate goal is to make a lasting impression whether or not you get that particular role and that would happen by being well prepared.

III.) Bring two choices of one to two minute monologues, comedy and dramatic, that you would like to use for your audition. While it need not be memorized, you should be very familiar with it. It is always advisable to have read the entire play.

IV.) Also be prepared to “Cold Read” a selected piece, as this is what you will encounter in a film or television audition.

Cost: $150 for two sessions
